About the Beach

Kerasia is a beautiful, low-key escape on the eastern coast of Northern Evia that’s perfect for skipping the usual summer crowds. Surrounded by steep, green mountains, the beach is made of smooth, grey pebbles that keep the water looking transparent and deep blue. It’s a quiet place where the only sounds are the waves and the wind moving through the nearby trees. Because it’s a bit more secluded, it draws people who appreciate nature without the loud music of a typical beach bar. There are a few local tavernas where you can get a simple meal, but the real draw is the sense of peace. The underwater world here is fantastic for snorkeling because the rocks attract plenty of sea life. It’s an ideal destination for a quiet day of swimming in some of the cleanest, coolest water on the island.
