About the Beach

Mariza Beach is a rugged coastal spot located on the southern edge of the island near the village of Limenaria. It is surrounded by a thick forest of pine trees that reach right down to the sea providing a contrast between the green landscape and the deep blue water. Because of the rocky surroundings it is a favored location for diving and cliff jumping in a completely natural and unorganized setting. According to local sources and geographical databases the area is highly valued for its absolute silence and its wild primitive character.
