About the Beach

Marmari Beach consists of three separate and secluded coves located just a few kilometers north of Astypalea Town near the islands campsite featuring a landscape of mixed sand and pebbles fringed by crystalline shallow waters that deepen after a series of flat stone slabs in an environment that is entirely unorganized and quiet with only a few tamarisk trees providing natural shade for those seeking a peaceful alternative to the busier southern bays while the surrounding hills are arid and typical of the islands rugged central terrain.
