About the Beach

Porto Schinoussa Beach is the main and most accessible beach on the island of Schinoussa, located right in the sheltered bay of the harbor of Mersini. It features a shore of fine golden sand and exceptionally calm, shallow turquoise water that remains remarkably clear despite the arrival of small yachts and local ferries. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and is shaded by large tamarisk trees that line the back of the sand, providing a cool and fresh environment for visitors.
