About the Beach

Psalidi is a long and primarily pebbly beach located to the east of Kos Town, world-renowned as a premier destination for windsurfing and kitesurfing. The water is deep and clear, and the consistent winds provide perfect conditions for water sports enthusiasts of all levels. There are many professional surf schools and high-end resorts along the shore, creating a very international and active vibe. While it is a hub for athletes, there are also many quiet and organized sections where you can relax on a sunbeds and watch the colorful sails glide across the blue water. The coastline here offers great views of the Anatolian mountains across the strait. It is a dynamic and well-maintained area that offers a more sporty alternative to the sandy beaches of the south. The water clarity is excellent, making it a good spot for a refreshing dip even if you are not surfing.
