About the Beach

Sidari Beach is a very famous and exciting place on the north coast of Corfu that is known all over the world for its strange and beautiful rock formations that have been carved by the sea into tunnels and arches. The most famous part is called the Canal d'Amour, or the Channel of Love, and there is a funny story that says if you swim through the narrow water tunnel with your friend, you will stay friends forever. The sand is a light yellow color and the water is very shallow and warm, which makes it a fun place to play and explore the little caves that are hidden in the soft clay cliffs. It is a very busy and social town with lots of shops, music, and places to eat, and it is the kind of beach where you can spend hours climbing on the smooth rocks and jumping into the sea from the low ledges with all your friends.
