About the Beach

Tristomo is a remote and historic natural harbor located on the northernmost tip of Karpathos, accessible only by a long hike or by boat. It is a very sheltered bay with calm water and a small settlement that feels like it has been frozen in time. The area is of great ecological and historical importance, as it was a naval base in ancient times. There is no traditional beach here, but rather a series of rocky entries and quiet piers where you can swim in total peace. It is a place for those who want to see the most isolated and authentic part of the island. The silence and the sense of history here are very profound. It is a true sanctuary for nature, where you can experience the Aegean exactly as it was centuries ago, surrounded by ruins.
