About Amaria Beach Resort
Amaria Beach Resort is a five-star beach hotel at Agia Paraskevi on the east coast of Santorini, set between the black sand beach of Agia Paraskevi and Santorini International Airport, close to Kamari. The resort, previously known as Imperial Med Resort and Spa, is run by the family-owned NOMÉE Hospitality Group. Cycladic buildings with marble details sit among gardens, shaded paths and flowered courtyards, and every room or suite has a private balcony, terrace or outdoor sitting area.
The front desk is open 24 hours and wifi is free. Services include a concierge, porter help, daily housekeeping, laundry, babysitting on request, car rental and paid airport or port transfers. There is parking on the premises, a gym, a tennis court and a private beach area with sunbeds and umbrellas.
Rooms and suites
All rooms and suites come with air conditioning, free wifi, a TV, a minibar, coffee and tea facilities, a safe, a hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, Azzaro bathroom amenities, and pool and beach towels. All suites except the Junior Suite add an espresso machine.
The Deluxe Double is 28 sq m with a double bed or twin beds, a rain shower and a garden sitting area, for two adults and an infant. The Junior Suite (35 sq m) and Superior Suite (38 sq m) face the garden and have a king bed and sofa bed for up to three adults and an infant. The Executive Suite is 40 sq m with garden views for up to four adults and an infant. The AMĀRIA Suite is 43 sq m with pool views for up to three adults and an infant. The Grand Suite is 65 sq m with sea views and an ultra king bed for up to three adults and an infant. The Windmill with Private Swimming Pool is a restored traditional windmill of 50 sq m with a queen bed and an unheated private pool, for two adults and an infant. The Two Bedroom Suite is 60 sq m with two bedrooms and two bathrooms for up to five adults and an infant.
Pool and breakfast
The large freshwater swimming pool has sunbeds, umbrellas, pool towels, a pool bar and a pool snack bar. The spa offers massages and personalised treatments, with a sauna and a hammam.
Breakfast runs from 7am to 10:15am in the breakfast buffet area. An early breakfast and packed breakfast can be arranged, and breakfast in the room is available on request for an extra charge. MYRRA, the poolside restaurant, serves Mediterranean cooking from 1pm to 10:30pm, and room service is available 24 hours.
Location and getting around
The black sand beach of Agia Paraskevi is about 100 metres from the hotel, and Kamari Beach is about 1.9 km away. By road, Santorini Airport is about 3 km away (around 7 minutes by car), Kamari village about 2.7 km, Pyrgos about 6.5 km, Fira about 8.1 km, Athinios port about 11.2 km and Perissa about 15.4 km.
Good to know
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. Guests need a photo ID and credit card at check-in. Children under 3 stay free, and a nightly supplement applies for older children and extra adults. Pets are allowed for an extra charge. The hotel welcomes couples, families, solo travellers and groups.
