Getting from Aegina to Antiparos

If you are heading to Antiparos from Aegina you are making your way to a small island in the Cyclades, just off the western coast of Paros. It has a Venetian kastro village, good beaches and an atmosphere that rewards those who stay overnight rather than visiting on a day trip from Paros.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Aegina to Antiparos. Antiparos is accessible only via Paros, either by a 10 minute local ferry from Pounta on the western coast of Paros or by a 30 minute passenger boat from Parikia. The most practical approach is to take the Saronic ferry from Aegina to Piraeus, which takes around 40 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes, and then board the Piraeus to Paros ferry, which takes around 3 to 5 hours depending on the vessel, before crossing to Antiparos from Pounta.

Getting there by air

Antiparos has no airport. The nearest airport is Paros, though no commercial scheduled flights operate there as of 2026. The most practical flying option is to take the Saronic ferry from Aegina to Piraeus, the metro to Athens Airport and fly to Naxos or Mykonos, then connect by ferry to Paros and cross to Antiparos from there.

Your best option

Take the Saronic ferry from Aegina to Piraeus and board the Piraeus to Paros ferry, then cross to Antiparos from Pounta. It is the most direct approach. If you are travelling with a car, the Pounta to Antiparos ferry takes vehicles and runs every 30 minutes in summer.
