Getting from Agistri to Serifos
If you are heading to Serifos from Agistri you are making your way from a small pine-covered island in the Saronic Gulf to an island in the western Cyclades. It has a Chora that climbs a steep hill above the port in a way that looks almost impossibly dramatic from the water.
Take the ferry
There is no direct ferry from Agistri to Serifos. The most practical approach is to take the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus, which takes around 55 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes, and then board the Piraeus to Serifos ferry, which runs 4 to 5 times daily in summer and takes around 2 to 3.5 hours. Total journey time from Agistri is around 4 to 5 hours and is a very manageable connection.
Getting there by air
Serifos has no airport. The nearest airport is Athens. The ferry from Piraeus is the only realistic option and is considerably more practical than flying given the direct delivery to Livadi port.
Your best option
Take the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus and board the Piraeus to Serifos ferry. It is the most direct and practical approach. If you are traveling with a car, the conventional ferry from Piraeus takes your vehicle directly to Livadi port.
