Getting from Alexandroupoli to Patras

If you are heading to Patras from Alexandroupoli you are making your way from the far northeastern corner of Greece to the third largest city in the country on the southern shore of the Gulf of Corinth, the main gateway to the Ionian islands and western Europe.

Fly from Alexandroupoli to Athens and take the KTEL bus to Patras. The bus from Athens Kifissos terminal runs frequently and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. If you are traveling with a car, drive from Alexandroupoli to Patras via the Egnatia motorway and E75 and then west through Athens, which takes around 10 to 11 hours in total.
