Getting from Tilos to Antiparos
If you are heading to Antiparos from Tilos you are making your way from a volcanic island in the Dodecanese to a small island just off the western coast of Paros in the Cyclades, on the opposite side of the Aegean. It has a Venetian kastro village, good beaches and an atmosphere that rewards those who stay overnight rather than visiting on a day trip from Paros.
Take the ferry
There is no direct ferry from Tilos to Antiparos. Antiparos is accessible only via Paros, either by a 7 minute local ferry from Pounta on the western coast of Paros running every 30 minutes in summer, or by passenger boat from Parikia taking around 30 minutes. Getting there means taking the overnight ferry from Tilos to Piraeus, which runs via Rhodes and takes around 15 to 18 hours, and then boarding the Piraeus to Paros ferry, which runs multiple times daily in summer, before crossing to Antiparos from Pounta. Flying is considerably more practical for most travelers.
Getting there by air
Antiparos has no airport. The nearest airport is Paros, though no commercial scheduled flights operate there in 2026. Tilos has no airport. The nearest airport is Rhodes. Taking the ferry from Tilos to Rhodes, flying from Rhodes to Athens and then taking the Piraeus to Paros ferry, before crossing to Antiparos from Pounta, gives a total journey time of around 7 to 8 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.
Your best option
Take the ferry from Tilos to Rhodes and fly from Rhodes to Athens, then take the Piraeus to Paros ferry and cross to Antiparos from Pounta. The Pounta to Antiparos ferry runs every 30 minutes in summer and takes 7 minutes. Check the Tilos to Rhodes schedule before booking as departure days and times vary by season. If you are traveling with a car, take the overnight ferry from Tilos to Piraeus and board the conventional Piraeus to Paros ferry, then drive across to Antiparos from Pounta.
