Getting from Volos to Kylini
If you are heading to Kylini from Volos you are making your way from a city on the Pagasetic Gulf at the foot of the Pelion peninsula to a port town on the northwestern Peloponnese coast, on the opposite side of Greece. It has a long sandy beach and the medieval castle of Chlemoutsi nearby, one of the best preserved Frankish fortifications in Greece.
Take the ferry

Getting there means driving from Volos south via the E75 motorway to Athens and then continuing southwest via Corinth and Patras to Kylini, which takes around 5.5 to 6 hours from Volos in total. This is a straightforward road journey that avoids the need to take any ferries along the way.
