About the Beach

Achladies Beach is a beautiful and well-protected sandy crescent located on the eastern coast of Skiathos, just a short distance from the main town and accessible by a scenic water taxi. It features fine golden sand and exceptionally shallow, crystal-clear water that remains calm even when the northern winds are blowing, making it a premier choice for families with young children. The beach is well-organized with many rows of sunbeds and umbrellas, and it is surrounded by lush greenery, including olive and citrus trees that reach the edge of the shore. Several traditional tavernas and beach bars are located right on the sand, offering fresh local seafood and refreshing drinks in a relaxed and friendly environment.
