About the Beach

Elia Beach is a spectacular and remote sandy shore on the northern coast of Skiathos, located about fifteen kilometers from the main town and accessible via a scenic dirt road through the Mandraki forest. It features a wide stretch of fine golden sand and intense turquoise water, backed by impressive red cliffs and low Mediterranean vegetation that provide a sense of total isolation. The beach is partially organized with a rustic wooden canteen and a few rows of sunbeds, but it maintains a raw and majestic character compared to the busier southern resorts. Because it faces the open sea, the beach is subject to the northern meltemi winds, making it an invigorating spot for a powerful swim when the waves are high.
