About the Beach

Afteli is a tiny and very picturesque hidden gem located in a deep, green bay on the southern coast of Lefkada. It features a small pebbly shore and incredibly clear, emerald water that is almost always calm. The beach is surrounded by dense vegetation and olive groves, providing a beautiful contrast to the bright colors of the sea. It is a partially organized spot with a small, friendly beach bar that serves excellent refreshments, making it a very comfortable and intimate place to spend the day. The snorkeling here is world-class, as the rocky edges of the bay are full of marine life and the water visibility is exceptional. Because it is tucked away at the end of a narrow road, it remains much quieter than the more famous western beaches. It is an ideal sanctuary for those seeking a peaceful, high-quality swim.
