Vasiliki is a very long and vibrant beach located in a wide bay on the southern coast, renowned as one of the best windsurfing spots in Europe due to the unique local wind conditions. The shore is a mix of sand and pebbles, and the water is very shallow and clear, making it a great choice for families as well as athletes. The western side of the bay is the main hub for windsurfing schools and active travelers, while the eastern side is quieter and more traditional. The village of Vasiliki is a charming and lively place with a busy waterfront full of tavernas and shops.
