About the Beach

Alogomandra is a very beautiful and unique beach located on the northern coast of Milos, featuring a spectacular natural sea cave that provides cool shade and a dramatic frame for the turquoise water. The shore is composed of fine white sand and small pebbles, and the water is shallow and exceptionally clear, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed and scenic swim. It is an unorganized beach that maintains a very peaceful and low-key atmosphere, as it is relatively hidden from the main tourist paths. The surrounding white volcanic rocks are sculpted into interesting shapes, creating a sense of enclosure and protection from the winds. It is a fantastic destination for photography and for those who enjoy the simple harmony of stone and sea. The light inside the cave and the transparency of the water create an otherworldly and very restorative environment. It is a perfect example of the island's quiet northern charm.
