About the Beach

Klima is a fishing village on Milos with houses built into the volcanic rock. While there is no sandy beach, the waterfront offers a place to swim in the blue water of the bay. The experience is connected to the island history, as you swim in front of the boat garages. It is an unorganized spot with a quiet character, though there is a restaurant nearby. The ground under the water can be rocky, so it is for swimmers. The view of the village from the sea is a known image of the Cyclades. Many people visit in the late afternoon to see the colors of the doors as the sun goes down. The water is often calm because the village is inside the large bay.
