About the Beach

Fyropotamos is a very charming and picturesque fishing village on the northern coast of Milos, featuring a small sandy beach with incredibly clear and glowing turquoise water. The village is famous for its "syrmata" traditional white houses with colorful doors built into the rocks and the beautiful church of Agios Nikolaos that stands on the rocky point. The beach is semi-organized with a small canteen and a few sunbeds, maintaining a very relaxed and traditional holiday feel. The water is shallow and calm, making it an ideal choice for families and for those who enjoy swimming in a setting of high architectural beauty. The combination of the white-washed buildings, the blue-domed church, and the bright sea creates a quintessentially Greek backdrop.
