About the Beach

Ammoudaraki is a hidden gem located on the wild western coast of Milos, consisting of three small sandy coves separated by impressive volcanic rock formations. It features sparkling golden sand and magnificent turquoise water that is exceptionally clear and shallow. Access is via a difficult dirt road, which ensures that the beach remains a very private and quiet sanctuary even during the busy summer months. There are no facilities or organized sunbeds, so the vibe is entirely natural and focused on the beauty of the sea. One of the coves features a small cave that can be explored by swimmers. It is an ideal destination for those who want to find their own hidden corner of the island and enjoy a peaceful swim in total silence. The surrounding hills are dry and rugged, providing a stark and beautiful contrast to the luminous water. It is a place of absolute tranquility and simple beauty.
