About the Beach

Bourtzi Beach is a small and historic swimming spot located on the tiny, pine-covered peninsula that divides the old and new harbors of Skiathos Town. It features a rocky and pebbled shore with clear blue water, offering a convenient and scenic place for a dip right in the heart of the island capital. The beach is unorganized but is surrounded by the ruins of a medieval Venetian fortress and a modern cultural center with a popular cafe-bar nearby.
