About the Beach
Chrisi Milia Beach is one of the few coastal areas on Alonissos that offers an expansive and more organized environment situated on the eastern coast between Patitiri and Steni Vala. The landscape is notably beautiful featuring a wide horseshoe shaped bay backed by a thick forest of pine trees that grow right down into the sand providing a rare and picturesque contrast of colors. This area is more developed than many of the islands remote coves offering a selection of sunbeds umbrellas and a local taverna that overlooks the water from a slightly elevated position. Despite its popularity and the presence of tourist facilities the beach maintains a high degree of natural charm due to the vibrant greenery that frames the entire shoreline.
