About the Beach
Elidaki is a small, remote beach that actually consists of two tiny coves separated by a narrow strip of land. It’s located on the western side of the island and is usually reached by boat or a fairly long trek. The water is a stunning shade of blue and is incredibly transparent, making it one of the best spots on the island for a quiet day of swimming and diving. The shore is mostly pebbly, and the lack of any buildings or shops nearby means you have a total sense of privacy. It’s a very simple and rugged landscape that feels completely untouched by modern tourism. Because it’s so small, it’s a great place to visit if you want to feel like you’ve found your own private corner of the archipelago. You’ll need to bring your own supplies, as there is nothing but the sea and the sun.
