About the Beach

Fourkovouni is a tiny and very traditional fishing village located on the northern coast of the main bay of Milos, featuring a very small and clear swimming area right in front of the boat houses. The village is known for its picturesque white "syrmata" with brightly colored doors, offering a very authentic and intimate glimpse into the island's maritime past. It is an unorganized and very quiet spot, with no shops or restaurants, attracting those who value total tranquility and a raw connection with the sea. The water is a deep, transparent blue and is well-protected from the winds, providing very calm conditions for a quick and peaceful dip. It is a fantastic place for photography and for experiencing the simple beauty of the island's coastal architecture in a setting of absolute silence. The clarity of the sea is world-class, making it a hidden sanctuary for those who want to escape the main tourist centers.
