Gerakas Beach is the northernmost accessible spot on Alonissos situated at the end of the islands main road in a rugged and sparsely populated area that feels worlds away from the main port. The landscape is significantly different from the southern coast featuring a more arid and wild environment of rocky mountains and low bushes that once served as a primary station for local shepherds and their flocks.
