About the Beach

Gerakas is a stunning and very secluded beach on the southern coast of Milos, accessible only by boat, which helps preserve its pristine and untouched character. It features a wide stretch of fine golden sand at the base of massive, snow-white volcanic cliffs that descend vertically into the sea. The water is an intense, glowing turquoise and is remarkably clear, making it one of the premier spots for snorkeling and underwater photography. Several natural hot springs bubble up near the shore, mixing warm mineral water with the cool Aegean.
