About the Beach

Kamari on Lefkada is a quiet and very green pebbly beach located on the eastern coast, tucked away in a well-protected bay near the village of Marantochori. It features exceptionally calm and clear emerald water, surrounded by lush vegetation and olive trees that reach almost to the shore. The beach is unorganized and maintains a very raw and natural feel, attracting those who enjoy silence and a peaceful connection with the sea. The water is shallow near the edge and gets deeper gradually, making it a great spot for a relaxed soak or for snorkeling along the rocky coastline. Because it is not on the main tourist path, it remains a very local secret where you can often have the water to yourself. It is a perfect example of the quiet, verdant beauty of the island’s eastern bays. The atmosphere is restorative and very simple.
