About the Beach

Kanapitsa Beach is a sophisticated and very popular sandy shore on the southern coast of Skiathos, located on the Kalamaki peninsula about seven kilometers from the main town. It features fine golden sand and exceptionally calm, turquoise water that remains well-protected from the northern winds, making it a premier choice for water sports and sailing. The beach is well-organized with many rows of sunbeds, umbrellas, and a professional water sports center that offers equipment for all skill levels. Numerous pine trees line the back of the sand, providing a fresh and shaded environment that contrasts beautifully with the bright blue sea.
