About the Beach

Kavalikefta is a stunning and very rugged beach on the western coast of Lefkada near the village of Kalamitsi, known for the massive boulders scattered along the shore. These white rocks create a dramatic landscape and provide natural platforms for sunbathing and jumping into the sea. The water is a vivid, glowing turquoise and is exceptionally clear, making it a favorite for snorkeling and photography. Access is via a steep and winding road, which ensures the beach maintains a wild and adventurous feel. It is partially organized with a small canteen and some sunbeds tucked between the rocks, but the overall vibe remains raw and powerful. The scale of the limestone cliffs and the intensity of the blue water make it one of the most visually striking spots on the island. It is a place of incredible light and natural energy.
