Rousoum Gialos Beach is a popular coastal area located in a natural bay between the main port of Patitiri and the settlement of Votsi nestled within a landscape of high vertical white limestone cliffs. The area is characterized by the presence of several traditional stone built tavernas and seaside cafes that line the shoreline providing a vibrant yet laid back atmosphere where the local community and visitors converge. Because it is sheltered by the surrounding rocky terrain the beach feels like a natural amphitheater where the village life of the island seamlessly meets the sea offering a sense of protection from the open Aegean.
