About the Beach

Tsugrias Beach is a spectacular and exotic sandy shore located on the small uninhabited islet of Tsugrias, just a short boat ride from the port of Skiathos. It features fine golden sand and exceptionally clear, shallow turquoise water that looks tropical against the backdrop of the lush green vegetation. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and a rustic beach bar that provides a relaxed and local environment during the peak summer months. It is a destination for those who want to find a private and scenic corner of the Sporades that feels like a private paradise. The water is warm and the entry is very easy and sandy for all swimmers, making it a favorite for photography and long, peaceful soaks. Access is via the frequent sea taxis that depart from the main harbor. The surrounding landscape is pristine and provides a sense of total freedom from the modern world. You should bring your own supplies if you move away from the small bar area. The atmosphere is quiet and reflects the wild nature of the coast. It is a hidden gem that reveals the untamed heart of the archipelago.
