About the Beach

Tzortzi Gialos Beach is located in a narrow and deeply sheltered bay on the eastern coast famous for a landscape that is almost entirely enclosed by verdant hills and thick pine forests. The area is prized for its unique geographical layout which creates a long and protected corridor of sea making the bay look more like a tranquil lake than an open coastal stretch. Because of the surrounding high ridges and the dense mediterranean vegetation the beach feels incredibly secluded and intimate with the greenery providing a vivid backdrop that highlights the natural and undeveloped state of this part of the island. It is often cited as one of the most beautiful spots in the Sporades due to the way the forest perfectly complements the coastal geometry creating a sense of total privacy.
