About the Beach

Vassilias Beach is a beautiful and well-serviced sandy shore on the southern coast of Skiathos, located just three kilometers from the main town at bus stop 8. It features fine golden sand and exceptionally clear turquoise water, backed by lush green hills and ancient olive groves that reach the edge of the shore and provide a fresh, shaded environment. The beach is well-organized with many rows of sunbeds, umbrellas, and a professional water sports center that offers various activities for adventurous visitors. Because it is located in a sheltered position, the water is consistently calm and warm, making it a premier choice for families with young children and those who enjoy a relaxed swim in a scenic setting. Several high-quality hotels and traditional tavernas are located right by the water edge, offering fresh local seafood and a comfortable social atmosphere.
