About the Beach

Voudia is a large and very rugged beach located on the eastern coast of Milos, known for its turquoise water and its unique industrial backdrop. The area is home to the island's active mining facilities, which give the landscape a very raw and functional character that is distinct from the more traditional tourist spots. The shore features a mix of sand and large pebbles, and the water is exceptionally clear and deep, making it a great spot for fishing and long swims. It is an entirely unorganized beach with no facilities or shade, attracting those who appreciate a more unrefined and wild environment.
