Who Was St. Parthenios of Lampsakos

Even though he had little formal education, he became known for his strong spiritual wisdom and his dedication to prayer and charity.

Because of his faith and reputation for holiness, St. Parthenios was eventually appointed Bishop of Lampsakos, an important Christian community in Asia Minor.
