Getting from Agios Efstratios to Antiparos

If you are heading to Antiparos from Agios Efstratios you are making your way from a small island in the northern Aegean to a small island in the Cyclades, just off the western coast of Paros. It has a Venetian kastro village, good beaches and an atmosphere that rewards those who stay overnight rather than visiting on a day trip from Paros.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Agios Efstratios to Antiparos. Antiparos is accessible only via Paros, either by a 7 minute local ferry from Pounda on the western coast of Paros running every 30 minutes in summer, or by passenger boat from Parikia taking around 30 minutes. Getting to Paros from Agios Efstratios means taking the ferry from Agios Efstratios to Lemnos, flying to Athens and then taking the Piraeus to Paros ferry, which takes around 3 to 5 hours.

Getting there by air

Antiparos has no airport. The nearest airport is Paros, though no commercial scheduled flights operate there in 2026. Taking the ferry from Agios Efstratios to Lemnos, flying to Athens and then taking the ferry from Piraeus to Paros, before crossing to Antiparos from Pounda, gives a total journey time of around 7 to 8 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Take the ferry from Agios Efstratios to Lemnos, fly to Athens and take the Piraeus to Paros ferry, then cross to Antiparos from Pounda. The crossing takes 7 minutes and runs every 30 minutes in summer without advance booking. If you are traveling with a car, the Pounta to Antiparos ferry takes vehicles and is the practical choice.
