Getting from Agistri to Porto Heli

If you are heading to Porto Heli from Agistri you are making your way from a small pine-covered island in the Saronic Gulf to a sheltered harbour on the Argolic Gulf in the northeastern Peloponnese. It has a marina, good beaches and Spetses visible across the water.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Agistri to Porto Heli. The most practical approach is to take the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus, which takes around 55 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes, and then board the Piraeus to Porto Heli ferry, which runs 4 to 5 times daily and takes around 2 hours. Note that the Piraeus to Porto Heli ferries are passenger only and do not carry vehicles. Total journey time is around 3 to 4 hours.

Getting there by air

Porto Heli has no airport. The nearest airport is Athens. The Saronic ferry via Piraeus is the most practical option for this route.

Your best option

Take the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus and board the Piraeus to Porto Heli ferry. It is the most direct and practical approach. If you are traveling with a car, take the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus and drive to Porto Heli, which takes around 2.5 to 3 hours from Athens via the Peloponnese, as the Piraeus ferry does not carry vehicles.
