Giorgos Kakosaios

Giorgos Kakosaios, the son of the legendary Giannis Ploutarchos, has rapidly emerged as the most promising young male vocalist in Greece. A talented composer who writes much of his own material, he successfully balances his father’s melodic legacy with a fresh, contemporary pop-Laïkó appeal. In late 2025, he embarked on his debut North American tour, performing to sold-out crowds. By 2026, he has stepped out of his father's shadow, becoming a diamond-certified artist in his own right with a focus on authentic, guitar-driven ballads.
