Agioi Anargyroi Beach is a visually stunning coastal area located on the eastern coast of Anafi directly below the historic chapel of the same name which is perched on a rocky cliff. The landscape is characterized by its verticality and the striking contrast between the whitewashed traditional architecture of the chapel and the deep red and brown hues of the surrounding volcanic rock. This area is entirely unorganized and remote offering a primitive and spiritual atmosphere where the silence is only broken by the sound of the waves. The surrounding geography is rugged and mountainous providing a dramatic and iconic setting that highlights the unique geological and cultural heritage of the island.
