About the Beach

Kasidiaris is a secluded cove on the southern part of the island that offers a lot of privacy and a rugged landscape. The beach is a mix of sand and pebbles, and the water is known for its deep blue color and transparency. It’s a bit more difficult to reach than the town beaches, which keeps the number of visitors low. There are no facilities or organized sections here, so you’ll need to bring your own water and supplies for the day. The bay is framed by steep, dry hills that give it a very isolated and quiet feel. It’s a solid destination for those who want to get away from the more popular spots and spend a few hours in a natural, undisturbed environment. The snorkeling is good around the rocky edges where the water meets the cliffs.
