Agios Nikolaos is a quiet and charming swimming area located near the main port of Korissia, tucked into the large and well-protected bay of the same name. It is primarily a pebbly shore with very clear and calm water, making it a very safe and easy place for a quick dip. Because it is located near the harbor, it is very accessible for those who don't have a vehicle or are waiting for a ferry. There are no major facilities on the sand, but the proximity to the town means that cafes and shops are just a short walk away. The atmosphere is very local and relaxed, offering a simple and honest swimming experience. It is a great place to watch the daily life of the harbor while cooling off in the sea. The surrounding area is home to the island’s lighthouse, which provides a scenic landmark for your swim.
