About the Beach

Gialiskari is a small and very popular sandy beach located between the port of Korissia and the village of Vourkari. It is a favorite for the younger crowd and those who enjoy a lively, social atmosphere close to the island’s main nightlife. The water is turquoise and very clear, and the beach is framed by large eucalyptus and tamarisk trees that offer excellent natural shade. It is a well-organized spot with a trendy beach bar that plays music and serves drinks throughout the day. Because of its location in the protected bay of Agios Nikolaos, the water is almost always flat and calm. It is a very convenient and fun place to swim, offering a great balance between natural beauty and a vibrant island vibe.
