About the Beach

Pisses is a beautiful and very fertile valley that ends in a wide, sandy beach on the western coast of Kea. It is one of the most popular family destinations on the island because of its soft sand and shallow, calm water that is well-protected from the summer winds. The beach is partially organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there are several large tamarisk trees that provide excellent natural shade. The area has a very authentic and agricultural feel, with local farms and a well-known campsite nearby. There are traditional tavernas right on the shore where you can enjoy local Kean dishes with a view of the sunset.
