Bonatsa is a very popular and beautiful sandy beach located on the southern coast, known for its soft golden sand and very shallow, warm water. The name "Bonatsa" refers to the calm sea, and the bay is exceptionally well-protected from the summer winds, making it a paradise for families and those who prefer a gentle swimming experience. It is a well-organized beach with a few beach bars and comfortable sunbeds, yet it manages to keep a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The entry into the water is smooth and sandy for a long distance, which is rare for the rocky coastline of Kimolos. Large tamarisk trees provide excellent natural shade along the shore, offering a cool place to rest between swims.
