About the Beach

Feloti is a hidden and very rugged cove located on the southwestern coast of the island, tucked away in a deep bay near the village of Chora. It is a small pebbly beach with very deep and transparent water, surrounded by high cliffs and the ruins of an old settlement. Access is via a winding road that offers spectacular views of the castle of Kythira and the open sea. It is a very quiet and unorganized spot, providing a sense of total isolation and privacy for those who make the journey. The snorkeling here is fantastic, as the rocky seabed is full of life and interesting underwater formations. It is a favorite for locals and adventurous travelers who want to escape the main tourist flow and find a private corner of the Mediterranean. The silence and the powerful natural energy of the bay make it a very memorable and authentic destination.
