About the Beach

Chora Cove is a small and very quiet swimming area located on the rocky edge of the main village, offering a bit more privacy and a more rugged environment than the central Ammos beach. It consists of small rocky ledges and a tiny patch of pebbles that lead into very deep and clear water. It is a fantastic spot for a quick morning swim or for watching the sunset over the sea with a view of the neighboring islands. There are no facilities here, which keeps the vibe very simple and focused on the quality of the water. It is a favorite for locals who want a fast dip away from the main tourist flow. The transparency of the sea is excellent, making it a great place to see the underwater rock formations right at the edge of the town. It is a peaceful and very honest Aegean spot that feels like a natural part of the village landscape.
