About the Beach
Gaidouravlakos Beach is a tiny and hidden gem tucked away on the southern coast of Agathonisi near the area of Tsangari. The beach is framed by steep limestone rocks and consists of fine pebbles and brilliant crystalline water that is ideal for diving. Its name translates to donkey stream reflecting its history as a remote watering spot accessible only by rugged donkey paths or by boat. The bay is very narrow and provides a sense of total privacy and isolation from the rest of the island. Because of its difficult land access it is most frequently visited by small boats and those seeking a truly untouched and wild swimming environment.
