About the Beach

Psili Ammos Beach is a secluded and narrow strip of sand and fine pebbles located on the southwestern coast of Agathonisi near the area of Tsangari. The beach is framed by high rocky cliffs and features exceptionally clear turquoise waters that remain calm even when northern winds affect the rest of the island. Because it is accessible primarily by boat or a long and rugged hiking path it remains one of the most quiet and untouched spots on the island. The surrounding landscape is dominated by dry Mediterranean scrub and grey limestone providing a dramatic natural backdrop for swimming. It is an ideal destination if you are looking for a primitive and peaceful environment far from any signs of modern development.
