About the Beach

Kanali Beach is a well known coastal spot situated just after the small bridge that connects the two parts of Poros island known as Sferia and Kalavria. The area is bordered by a scenic coastal road and a variety of traditional tavernas and cafes that offer a panoramic view of the open sea toward the Peloponnese. The landscape is relatively open and bright compared to the forested coves further west and it serves as a convenient destination for those staying in Poros Town due to its proximity. While it features a high level of organization the surrounding hills are dotted with classic white houses and low vegetation that maintain the islands traditional character.
